Cookies and browser storage
We use cookies to remember your basket. We also use your browser’s local storage to save your colour preference and information about how you found us.
Basket cookies
| Name | What it holds | How long it lasts |
|---|---|---|
prc_basket |
A random reference to your basket, signed by us | 30 days |
prc_n |
The number of cards in your basket | 30 days |
These cookies contain a basket reference and item count. They do not contain your name, address or gift message. The basket contents are stored on our servers.
We set these cookies without asking for consent because they are needed to provide the basket you use to shop.
Your colour preference
If you choose light or dark mode, we save that choice in your browser for future visits. It stays there until you change it or clear this site’s data.
How you found us
When you first visit, we save a record called prc_attr in your browser’s
local storage. It contains:
- the first page you visited
- the referring website, such as
google.com, without the full address of the page you came from - campaign details in the link, such as
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_termandutm_content - advertising click identifiers in the link, such as
gclid, msclkidandfbclid - the date and time of your visit
We use that first visit for 30 days. Later visits during that period leave the record unchanged. When you return after it expires, we replace it with a record of your new visit. Local storage does not delete it automatically while you are away.
If you order, we save referral and campaign details with the order to help us understand which websites and campaigns bring sales. We do not send this information to advertising networks or use it to show you adverts. Our privacy page explains how we keep and use order information.
You can remove the browser record by clearing this site’s data in your browser settings. This also clears your basket cookies and colour preference. A new visit may create a new record. If your browser blocks scripts or local storage, you can still browse and order.
Cookies at checkout
You pay on Stripe’s checkout pages. Stripe uses its own cookies to run the checkout and prevent fraud. Its privacy policy covers those cookies. We do not set or read them, and we do not see or store your card number.
Advertising and analytics
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, remarketing tools or social media tracking buttons.
If we change how we use cookies or browser storage, we will update this page and ask for permission where required.
